407 Dudley Street
Located between Dudley Square and Newmarket Square is the former city of Boston Steam Engine No. 12 Fire House. Originally built in 1875, this 7,500 square foot building sat vacant for nearly 15 years until it was purchased in the Spring of 2015.
Construction started in the Fall of 2015 and the building is now made up of seven residential apartments and one commercial space with units ranging in size from studio to four bedrooms. This project delivered in the Fall of 2016.
Designed by Vanko Studio Architects, built by Artizan General Construction, and financed by Leader Bank; a comprehensive neighborhood approval process, zoning relief and BRA design review were required.
